Still doing the happy jig in my new blue patent leather Borns. If you don't have a pair of Borns, you should. They are one of the most comfortable & attractive shoes on the market. My last pair of Borns were a red leather pair that I have nearly worn out. I plan to do the same with these new blue shoes. They aren't suede, but I think Elvis would approve.

On our first date upteen years ago Tim took me to a Judson college basketball game, and I invited him over for dinner prior to that game. I spent that afternoon making bread the way Agnes Ferngren taught me to do. Tim ate a whole loaf during that meal. I'm not kidding a whole loaf. Then he took the other one home and ate that one too. He was even skinner back then if you can believe that.
While he was in Idaho this weekend, I rifled through my cookbooks until I found that old receipe of Agnes's, and one from Jodi Geldmeister for zucchini bread. Then I baked Tim all his favorite breads -- cinnamon, zucchini and just plain old fashioned bread. When he got home around 2 a.m. the entire house smelled of home-baked bread.
Kids are you missing your mama's cooking, now?
We are off to the mountain to get the Christmas tree this morning. A fresh snowfall should make the snowmobiling fun.
I'll put on my pink boots and do a happy jig there for you all on the mountain.
