Winter Wonderland

You may have heard about the snowstorms that have hit the Northwest. Daughter Ashley spent 4 hours making a 20 minute drive home the other night, after Spokane got hit with 20 inches of snow in one 24-hour period. Tim's been goofing off most of the week as classes and even basketball practice has been called off.

I don't want to say eat your heart out, but today's high in North Carolina is expected to hit 70. Tim's high the other day was 9 degrees.

I'll be in shock next week when I arrive in Bend on Christmas Eve, just in time for a White Christmas, apparently.

There's a lot of other things I"m blogging about but you'll have to weigh in over at the fayobserver site on those things --

Meanwhile, here's some photos sure to warm you...

Tim shoveled the drive.

Reader John C. sent this photo in from his Oregon home. Nice.

Even Sister Tater's home on the beach in Washington State got dumped on!

Santa Poe.
